Tesler

Tesler Mendelovitch, is a design company in Tel Aviv, founded by Orli Tesler and Itamar Mendelovitch. This creative couple designs, primarily focusing on scrap wood to create their beautiful products. They began designing together in Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, when they created wood diamonds and continued to follow their passion to create even more products out of natural wood.

Telavivian was lucky to have a personal interview with the designers and get behind the brilliant design. One particular product that caught the eye of the Telavivian was the wooden clutch. Orli and Itamar were inspired by the wood’s beauty and flexibility as a product and how you use it. In the video below Orli explains the thought process behind the brilliant design. “It’s very important for us that the clutch felt good and not just looked good.”

Check out the feature video to discover more of the unique qualities of these beautiful products.
