Wallpaper dedicates a supplement to Israel’s design scene

Wallpaper, the world’s number one global design magazine, puts Israeli design in the limelight of its January 2015 issue, providing the world with a peek into Israel’s design scene. Through a dedicated supplement titled “Israel Revealed”, the Magazine focuses on various aspects of Israeli creation in design, architecture, fashion and more.

Wallpaper chose Caesarstone as its partner in the project on account of its outstanding innovation and proven international success. Caesarstone manufactures high quality engineered quartz surfaces, which are used in both residential and commercial buildings as countertops, vanities, wall cladding, floors and other interior surfaces. The factory is located in Israel, owned by the Kibbutz Sdot Yam.

Israel Revealed features the leading designers and trends of Israeli design from different design disciplines: product design, architecture, fashion and culinary creations (in which Israeli Chef Meir Adoni was asked to provide his personal interpretation of the marriage of visual design and flavour and create a 5-course meal on Caesarstone tops).

Tony Chambers, Wallpaper’s editor-in-chief, explained the decision to shine a light on Israel: “We have always perceived Israel as a small country with great talent. The Israeli design scene has certainly matured and we hope we have been instrumental in exposing some of the best talents Israel can offer today.”
