Maya Herman and Her Revolution

by Anna Kopito | 04.01.15

When the wind blows in a new direction, we know the essence of change is upon us, and with these changing winds comes Maya Herman and her “Mahapecha” (Revolution). The title of the new single from the sincere singer-songwriter is available now and features on her upcoming album.

In the last couple of years Maya released one successful single after another (Check her Youtube page to see for yourselves). After a successful crowdsourcing campaign, Maya turned to work on her second album with the music producer Amir Zoref in Berlin.

Maya’s music is a guided exploration of fears, hopes, love and care, in a simple and yet touching way. In one sentence – Maya is a singer-songwriter of the classic Telavivan kind; her music confronts personal feelings we all share and relate to.

So what lies ahead? Maya is about to release some new material in her show on Friday at Tmoona (8 Shontsino Street, Tel Aviv). Get ready for an emotional ride. Click here more details.

Check out her iTunes (most are in Hebrew, soon in English as well).
